A new protege

Saturday marked the end of the first 4-session block with this new student. More often than not, a change in attitude is tougher to achieve than tangible improvement such as score increase. Indeed, the former can even lead to an improvement across the board for all subjects. Looking forward to Year 2020 with this girl.

A new start

Last Saturday heralded my first session with a new student, A. I previously met up with the mother and this child on the preceding week, and observed that this child was very reserved. However, the session turned out to be very light-hearted and enjoyable, with more than the right amount of “chemistry” for continuity. Cheers!
